COASTAL PINHOLES

This is a project (2000 – present) using 4 x 5 pinhole (lensless) cameras to depict California’s central coast as an “imaginary coastline.” A mysterious figure in 19th century attire appears in many of the images. Published as Explorations Along an Imaginary Coastline (2006) by Hudson Hills Press.
